Shark Attack Incident During CamSoda Promotional Shoot

Adult entertainer Molly Cavalli was bitten by a shark during a promotional video shoot for adult entertainment platform CamSoda. The incident occurred off the Florida coast while Cavalli was inside a specially designed protective shark cage. A lemon shark unexpectedly bit her on the ankle, causing an injury that required 20 stitches.

Details of the Shark Encounter

The promotional shoot was intended to feature a new hardware protection device. However, it took an unexpected turn when, despite the protection of the shark cage, a lemon shark managed to bite Cavalli. The attack was captured on video, which shows the shark breaching an opening in the cage and reaching Cavalli's leg.

Immediate Response and Recovery

After the shark attack, Cavalli was quickly lifted from the water and attended to by the crew. Initial confusion was evident among the team, but quick action was subsequently taken to treat her injuries. Cavalli later reassured her followers through a social media update. On her personal account she shared, "Thanks for your well wishes guys. I'm totally fine. It's not as bad as it seems. I'm healing quickly. It was still an amazing experience. Much love to my @camsoda team for taking good care of me."

CamSoda's Stance on the Incident

Darren Press, Vice President of CamSoda, commented on the incident, stating that the approach of the shark startled Molly Cavalli, causing her to swim to the surface. "Our intention was to have Molly quickly dive into the shark cage with the camera and begin the promotional shoot. Unfortunately, the shark's unforeseen aggression led to the incident," explained Press.

Conclusion

The mishap has highlighted the potential risks associated with underwater filming, especially in environments inhabited by wildlife such as sharks. Despite the incident, Cavalli's experience remains a significant event for CamSoda, showcasing their commitment to adventurous and engaging promotional activities.
