OnlyFans Star Rejects Political Campaign Offer

In a surprising turn of political campaign strategy, a Super Political Action Committee (PAC) supporting Vice President Kamala Harris reached out to a gay OnlyFans content creator and vocal Donald Trump supporter, proposing an anti-Trump content collaboration. The PAC, known as Future Forward, is noted as one of the largest Democratic Super PACs in current operation.

Details of the Outreach

Michael Doherty, a 22-year-old OnlyFans influencer from Long Island with a substantial following of 775,000 on social media, was approached by Palette MGMT, an influencer marketing firm. On July 26, acting on behalf of Future Forward, Palette MGMT offered Doherty $1,500 to produce a TikTok video no longer than 90 seconds that would portray Trump negatively.

Influencer's Reaction to the Proposal

Doherty, known for integrating his conservative political views with his OnlyFans content, was taken aback by the offer. He expressed dismay, pointing out his clear political stance and allegiance to Trump. “I can't believe the when-we-go-low-they-go-high liberals would pay people to talk trash about Trump... Secondly, I can't believe this agency would be so dumb as not to Google me," Doherty remarked. He further asserted his commitment to his values, "Just because I do OnlyFans, doesn't mean I whore out my values. I would never sell out for Kamala Harris," he added.

Campaign's Target and Content Strategy

The campaign brief required the video to target young voters aged between 18 and 24, reminding them of the Trump presidency as the election year approaches. The guidelines proposed a man-on-the-street interview format, where participants would compare quotes from Trump to fictitious statements, trying to identify the speaker. Importantly, the content was to avoid any positive depiction of Trump, ensuring a humoristic or critical angle to avoid misrepresentation.

Lack of Response from Campaign Officials

Despite repeated attempts to reach out for a statement, Daniel Daks, CEO of Palette, and Chauncey McLean, President of Future Forward, have remained silent regarding the initiative and have not responded to requests for comment.
