Legal Issues for OnlyFans Performer
Kylie Leia Perez, known on the OnlyFans platform as Natalie Monroe, is facing serious legal challenges due to tax evasion allegations. The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Florida announced that she owes at least $1.6 million in back taxes according to a press release dated August 14.
Income and Tax Evasion Details
From 2019 to 2023, Perez reportedly earned $5.4 million from her OnlyFans activities. Authorities have outlined that during this period, she failed to meet her tax obligations. This includes one count of filing a false tax return and four counts of failing to pay income tax. For the year 2019, Perez apparently submitted a false tax return and subsequently did not file taxes on her substantial earnings in the following years. Her annual taxable income varied significantly, recorded from $202,998 to $2,130,898 over these years.
Consequences and Legal Proceedings
If convicted on all charges, Perez could face up to seven years in federal prison. She was arrested on August 14, following an indictment that was officially filed on July 22.
Defense and Representation
The defense attorney for Perez, Brian Lucas Shrader of Tampa, has not yet made any public statements regarding the case as of August 15.
